The Basic Recipe is so simple, nothing can go wrong. Take very ripe bananascut them into pieces and freeze them. The best thing is to always have a small supply of banana pieces in the freezer and you can make ice cream in just 10 minutes at any time as you please. Leave the bananas in the freezer before slightly thaw and puree it afterwards. This works best with a powerful blender but any blender can be used.

3. tips

  • The riper and more aromatic the fruit, the more delicious the Nicecream. The ripeness of bananas can be recognized very well by their colour (nice, rich yellow and many brown spots).
  • If the bananas are not yet ripe enough and have therefore not yet developed as much sweetness, you can help with a little honey or maple syrup.
  • You can vary the Nicecream with other fruits. It is best to freeze all fruits or alternatively use them chilled.

  • One should always have a small stock of frozen bananas or fruits in the freezer, then nothing stands in the way of immediate enjoyment.
  • When mixing, do not work at too high a speed, otherwise too much heat is generated and the Nicecream turns into lukewarm fruit slush in places.
  • If it doesn't work out like this with the mixing, you can also add a little more liquid. However, you have to take care that it doesn't get too much and that it becomes more of a banana shake than a Nicecream.
  • Nicecream tastes best freshly prepared. It should therefore not be frozen again, but should be plastered down to the last bit.

4. one word at the end

Nicecream is often advertised as a healthy alternative. However, you should always be aware that fruit, and ripe bananas in particular, can cause Fructose contained.

Here as an overview the average
Composition of a banana with 100 g:
22,8 g of carbohydrates
2.6 g dietary fibre
1,1 g protein
0,3 g fat

With this you take with you a portion of ice cream approx. 90 kcal to himself. This should not stop you from enjoying your Nicecream, because in fruits there are of course also many healthy constituents. You should, as always in life, simply find the right measure.

For me personally Nicecream not a full-fledged ice cream substitute. As I said, that's my opinion and I know enough people who are Nicecream fans. It is certainly a quick and easy way to create an ice-like, vegan dessert and also ideal for children. But in the end Nicecream is a puree of frozen fruits. Very tasty, but not comparable to a real ice cream in terms of taste complexity and consistency.

5. variants of the Nicecream
